Hello folks i had my lawyer sent the i-130 package on July 9 and today it's 26 July i haven't received the NOA1 yet i don't know why it's taking so long. well i filed for i-129 after the interview my case was sent back to USCIS with the recommend of revocation. once it got to USCIS and they reaffirmed my K-1 Petition within 2 weeks but it was too late by then we were already married i informed Embassy we got married. SO we filed for i-130 our previous petition was approved by VSC in 92 days and i know alot of cases backed-logged and CSC is approving the cases pretty fast. so my question is my NOA1 is delayed because they sent my case to VSC that is why or what could be reason of receiving noa1 that late.

Sometimes it takes 30 days to get a notice. Check to see if check is cashed. You sure your first petition is cancelled stopped?

Mohsin I don't know if you have read the boards reviews of using a lawyer most of the time they slow things down. All correspondance goes to them and they charge money for something you can simply do yourself unfortunately there is such a big disconnect from the processing of the visa to the applicants a lawyer has no additional say so or insight.Unless you have magically found a lawyer who actually does have some connections.Anyways good luck. And yes I have heard its taking over a month to get a notice of action .

hey sn530 let me tell you this lawyer which we took this time we wanted to take him before for my previous K-1 Petition he is pretty much experience in his department. he has been doing immigration for more than 30 year as the matter of fact he the one who got my wife her green card.though in the past he was charging enough so we went ahead and hired a lawyer which i myself goggled in newyork city and recommended my wife to hire him.there was nothing wrong with anything with our previous petition and we didn't want to take a chance this time around to avoid any errors because Most of times we hire these lawyer for paperwork. now to see when the wind blows bro still waiting patiently
