since my hubby and i were have a argue. i just find out he send my petition last monday July 23, 2012. the question is isn't okay if were different surname i just find out on my sample form and i put my own surname there not my husband surname (well i just married about 2 months) lol. and i dont know if they going to deny or what because of that. hope not......

Anyway, I've been a little concerned that it will be an issue at our interview. Sigh...so many worries. :wacko:

First question is do you intend to keep your birth name or change to husband surname?

If you want to keep your birth name then you are 100% ok. If you want to change to husbands name then you should have used it on the I-130 but it is not a major problem. Should be able to address it at the biometrics or interview.

Second question is do you intend to move your birth surname to your middle name as is tradition in the Philippines?

This one can be harder to deal with because it is non standard here in the USA. I don't want to panic you but in this case really stay on top of it until you get some kind of official document from USCIS or DHS that has the correct name on it.
