You could try this number on Monday

0207 589 8965 - This is the number for Kinghtsbridge Doctors - Basil Mansions

Give them your case number and explain that you have had your pack 3.

They should either assist or give you a different telephone number.

Hope this helps

Yep, do what ICE2005 says. Good piece of advice. :)

Thanks MariaDane, ICE2005 and Mags.

Is there anything from Packet 3 that is needed to schedule or even take to the interview? (As we do not have the Packet)

I've seen mention of a medical questionaire being taken to interviews. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8321

Is there any chance anyone has a copy of the Medical Isntructions from Packet 3 ?

Thanks so much !

[if I need to start another post for this topic - let me know]

I got 2 forms about the Medical Examination, so i got one spare..if you want it..send me a email with your home address and i will mail it out to you.

Also the phone number to schedule your medical is : 020 7584 9458 (this is the number listed on the Examination package that is sent out and included with Packet 3). Call them on monday and arrange to have your medical done a.s.a.p. Also when you call them, they will ask you for your case number. There are also directions included in the examination pack.

""You MUST quote your case number when making your call and confirm the date of your visa appointment, if one has already been scheduled for you. Appointments are scheduled on a first come, first served basis!!"" << taken from the instructions on the pack for "THE MEDICAL EXAMINATION"

What you need to take with you are:

Your passport

1 passport photograph of each person requiring the medical (specifications for the photograph are the same as those obtained for the visa.

Your Vaccination record

Medical Questionaire IV21a (which is at the back of the examination package)

Directions included.

:crying: Hubby called DOS on wednesday and they told him that my packet-3 had been received dated 09/27/06 and they had also received my medical results and IV-15 checklist.

Today i get an email from the embassy stating they can confirm receipt of my medical results and checklist but have no record of ever having received my DS-156, DS-156K and DS-230-1 :crying: So, i email the embassy back stating they were sent on 27th september by recorded delivery and stamped the receipt on 2nd october, which i can track using the tracker number associated with that delivery. I scanned the "Proof of Delivery Receipt" which i have in my possession and attached it to an email back to the embassy.

I also downloaded and filled in the forms AGAIN!!! ran to the post office and sent them Special Delivery(next day) with a letter attached stating why i re-sent them. :(

Could this merely be because the embassy just hasnt put them on the system yet?? OR did they lose them after they received them????

I feel really p*ssed off at this at point, now we will probably be setback a further 3 weeks due to this fiasco :(

What should i do next??

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Maria.

guys sorry to ask but the ds156 and ds156k its not only to bring for the interview? or u send them along with the check list becuase ive had a contradictory answer to that one

Windstorm, not all of the embassys have the same procedure regarding packet 3 forms. As far as London Embassy is concerned, The forms DS-156 and DS-156K (unsigned) along with DS-230-1 and checklist have to be returned to the embassy for final processing of the application before an interview can be scheduled. I dont know what the procedure is regarding the embassy or consulate that you are dealing with. I'm sure someone will be able to help you.

I only know the procedures for UKers dealing with London. Have you tried the regional room dealing with Portugal??

No, the scheduling of the medical is done by you after you have received packet 3. It's nothing to do with the embassy receiving your forms.

Thats right mags, i got Packet-3 a few days later than i should have, medical went well too

Hubby called DOS, they do have my paperwork except they are waiting for the so-called forms for my 2 kids  Hubby and I made the mistake of including them on the I.129F petition, coz we thot that if we didnt disclose that i have 2 kids then we would have been in BIG trouble with Immigration. Seems that is not that case grrrrrrrrrrr they need to amend their friggen forms so that it says...List all children that you have/spouse has IF accompanying applicant to the US.

I might be scottish but i am certainly NOT DAFT :P:goofy:

Fingers crossed this time :bonk:

Ok Im confused now because on our forms we listed my husbands kids which he had a from a previous relatinship. The mother has custody of his kids 6 and -4 yrs of age. The kids wont be accompanying him to the US. Will this bring us the same problem that you are having because we listed them as the forms indicated to do so??? Please adivce. Im confused I hope we dont have all this trouble.

I called the embassy back today, seems they havent finished processing my application yet, and was told that there shouldnt be a problem with it, once they complete processing my application they will send me a interview date......for myself!! All children do need to be included whether they are coming to the US or not, thats what they told me anyways.

DoS just hadnt been updated on my application regarding my children not coming with me. Here's hoping i dont get anymore trouble.
