our attorney, just send the packet to recieve the interview, and im wondering how long does it take to get a response and get the interview? and what is the process

we also want to know does he have to pay a fine or have to stay in mexico for how long?

he's 21 years old, entered when 15

he entered illegally in 2007 and is still here, never left the country, he's never been deported, had a speeding ticket and paid it off, hasnt attended school

his dad(resident in 07 became a citizen in 09, but never changed his status on petition) petitioned him in 2007 before my husband entered the u.s., he got the interview in dec.09, but decided not to go bc he didnt want us to break up/which i told him to go but he didnt

we got married in may 2010, and petitioned him in july 2010, and here we are

i want to know is his dad's petition going to affect him, because, nothing was done to it, cancelled nor continued?

You cannot Adjust Status from entering illegally, as there is no status to adjust. But I am a bit confused by your writing,.. is your husband in Mexico now? If so, when did he leave the USA?

What does going to the interview have with breaking up?

he was 2 people that petitioned for him, his dad and me, we both filed the I-130, his dad petitioned for him in 2007 he was called to the interview 2010, but decided not to go, and the I-130 that his dad filed nothing was done with that, meaning never cancelled or continued

I filed the I-130 in 2010

I want to know is that going to affect him because he has 2 people that petitioned for him with the I-130, and when he was called for the interview which was the one his dad filed him, he decided not to go for his personal reasons, now we are waiting for the interview on behalf of the I-130 I, his wife filed

Do you know what your attorney filed? Was it I-485 based on the approved I-130 that you did?

If so, it will take a few months to get to the interview.

Do you have copies of the paperwork? What did you put down for his status when he entered? For example, my husband entered as "visitor", other people would put a visa type like "F-1".
