I hope this is in the right place ..

Hello My step daughter has her perminate resident card like her mom. The daughter was here for 3 months only to get ssn, perm resident, ect then went back to Ukraine. I no longer want to be responsible for her affidavit of support if she ever wants to come back to the states. What do I do ? I read that if they leave Im no longer responsible but what if she comes back ? Is there a form to fill out.. Things gone BAD in a BIG way ha ha help !

You are stuck if she got her green card through that affidavit of support. Now if she loses it through not keeping up with the residency then you don't have to worry. Or if one of you were to die.

How long has she been back in Ukraine? Did she get a re-entry permit before she left?

If she stays out over a year without a re-entry permit, she is considered to have abandoned her greencard and you are off the hook

I don;t think there is any way for you to find out if the daughter has a re-entry permit, unless she tells you/ you remember her applying for one. If she has one, she can stay out for 2 years and keep her card. Nothing you need to do, she will be stopped from entering if she stays out too long.

You say mom (your ex) has a visitors visa, but your profile shows K1... does she have a greencard or a tourist visa? If only tourist visa, you are not responsible for her at all. If greencard, same rules as above.

Thanks Pengiun. My ex has 10 yr US Permanente Resident card as does her daughter that is in Ukraine. But Ex's Mom has the visitors visa. If anyone applied for re-entry it would have been me and I didnt that I can remember. Would that be done at the airport ? Or when would that be done ?

It would have to be done via USCIS, and takes a few weeks to get.
