The 70 slots is for a different catagory, I believe that's for the immigrant workers. Fiances and spouses are limited to 12/day.

No, just a long day at work right now. I don't like stupidity. If they actually did their current up to date research then they would know.

But not rude, sorry if it came out to be. Just a stressful day at work.

@Joshua... If it is as you say, and the US is trying to cut down on human trafficking... Don't you think the slow, expensive, proof-laden process to get a visa and a GC is thorough enough? It's not like the CFO scam is slowing down the ride of émigrés, my friend. It just ensures they all pay more money to leave the PI. And warn the women o the dangers of marrying abusive Americans.

Besides if it were a U.S. request I would think there are other countries higher on the list that a CFO type "delay" would be added. Seriously I believe its just a Philippine thing to grab more money and exercise control just once more.

According to the CFO website, it says this whole "12 slots per day" thing is in effect as of July 16, 2012...for both Manila and Cebu.

Well this whole CFO process sucks in general. It is real inconvenience for people that live down in Mindanao or out in the province. They should open one up in Davao and it would help the process work alot smoother.
