There isn't a state in the union sucking as much money per capita out of Washington on earmarks as Alaska. Now think if Alaska was to go on it's own selling it's resources on the global market with no US Feds involved seeing how Alaska would be it's own country. Mind you Alaska is 1/5 the size of the entire Lower 48, and that Alaska has more coast line than the rest of the entire US combined.

No more money to Alaska natives. That would be the first move seeing how everyone up here hates the idea they get everything for free. Google "Alaska Native Claims Act" if you want a clue.

Alaska has more resources including oil than you can imagine. We have larger oil deposits than Prudhoe Bay that we haven't even tapped into because of the Feds. That and we don't have millions of illegals sucking up our state money. That's a California thing.

Are you for real? I mean how do you manage to log onto the net every day? Who do you think builds those oil refineries and processing plants? Try BP (UK), ENI (Italian), Exxon. Conoco Phillips, etc... Like none of them would give their left nut to produce our oil while we sell it to Asia?
