1. NUMBER ONE and most important is not to take life for granted. You are not promised tomorrow and thus never go to bed mad at your loved ones without calling a truce and saying I LOVE YOU and we can continue this in the am. Usually it is forgotten in the am.

Mary

This pretty much sums up the most important thing learned for me. And I would hazard that Mary's learnt it from the same place I did...in loss.

I miss it but I don't think I'd ever live there again. Beautiful state though. If you haven't had the chance, drive up the 17 to Flagstaff. My parents retired up there.

I drove here from Sask so I everything from Fredonia to Phoenix. and the time before we came in from New Mexico so I saw all of the east part. Casey has family in Tucson and Rio Rico so we drove down that way last month. Now I just have to go over to Yuma and I will have it covered lol.

It is so beautiful. There is a little of everything here. Sedona is my favourite part.

never leave a chocolate bar on your dash board in July in Arizona

never go for a walk in a dog park with sandals

never ask any woman if she is pregnant

don't promise your children anything, they will remember

the expiration on milk is not a suggestion

the easiest way to look pretty is to surround yourself with ugly people

Same goes for an unopened can of Coke. Did that once (actually, the can was sitting on the passenger seat)...an hour later, the seal around the rim had opened slightly, and the contents had evaporated, leaving crystallized sugar rattling around in the bottom :o There was no sign of spillage anywhere...

1. That things aren't what they sometimes appear.

2. There are certain personality types that I see repeated in the people I meet throughout my life - like deja vu all over again.

3. That some things are better left unsaid. (This is usually realized after I've said it)

4. That I'm still the same kid I have always been, just in a grown up's body.

5. If I'm not in the present, life comes and goes and I keep missing the good parts.
