hi everyone , I tell them my case. We send all the paperwork for the K1 visa on 20 February 2012, the February 23, 2012 we received the NOA1.

already been 5 long months since we started this process, and want to be with my fiance, because we have not seen 4 months ago and this is really hard.

how long it take to reach them the NOA2?

Let me know if I'm still in processing time?

Isn't it nice to see them approving April apps while ours gather dust? There's nothing to be done about it, though. Oh, I suppose you could call and talk to some bored call center person reading you bull****dates from his computer, if that'll make you feel better. Just try to remember that in the end, the wait will be worth it... and maybe have a beer.

Go visit each other. I know it won't make the processing go any faster but the processing doesn't stop you from seeing each other.

Usually the say to allow 30 after the 5 months before you can put in a service request unless the processing times are more than 5 months on the USCIS webpage.

we have been waiting exactly 1 month longer... we contacted our congress person- nothing, we've managed to put in a service request (21 days ago) - nothing, now we have contacted our senator and waiting for them to contact USCIS today and try to get our case expedite! and to be honest , I think it won't speed things up either... it is frustrating but we all have to think about our reward at the end of this journey our loved ones waiting there for us... the good thing is, it will happen! We don't know when but it will stay strong!

-Vermont Service Center: vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov

Please note: Emails should be sent to the Service Center that has jurisdiction over your case. The receipt notice will indicate EAC for the Vermont Service Center, SRC for the Texas Service Center, LIN for the Nebraska Service Center, and WAC for the California Service Center.

When contacting the Service Centers by email you will need to provide the information outlined in Step 1. If the NCSC did not issue a service request after your call, please indicate the reason the NCSC representative did not issue the request.

I sent my I129F in Nov 2011. RFE that I responded to. Service request added 90 days. Congress person didn't help. I'm giving up hope. I don't feel good anymore. I'm so sad too.

VSC and CSC take turns. In January, it was breaking my heart to see others from VSC approved in 6 weeks and we kept waiting and waiting. It's very hard to wait but wait we must. Be patient. Go see your loved one if you can. Good luck.

5 months processing is their goal and an average which means some more or less than 5 months. As hard as it is you are within normal timelines and it's not time to panic yet. :-)
