so I was on the phone with them for 17 mins.

After they got my receipt number, basically they just read my case status show on USCIS website... which I check 10 times a day

and I asked them where is my case now and when can I be expecting my interview notice, again, they checked the "processing time" on the website and repeat that to me... lol

So I gave up... I guess I will just have to wait, I feel like I know it better than them. sigh

I guess you can't really rely on them huh....All we have to do is to wait for text/email for the updates...

some people never get EAD just interview..

Hubby and I will call in like 10 minutes to ask about I-130 since I have not received any notice about it.

When did you file?

I just finished talking to USCIS and told me that only if they require additional information they will notify me about I-130, she said you only get NOA1 and approval or denial letter and that los angeles is barely taking care of January filers and that is currently taking 5 months for I-130... I'm confused now

RFE's really delay the process... hang in there as long as you don't get a denial you should be fine.

lol... I had not read this... is exactly what they told me right now... lol

the only good thing she said was to make an infopass to Los Angeles USCIS office and ask them she said they have more info then them...(why do they even have a call center)you can even make your own inquiry online :bonk:

Wow its kind is confusing... I think they are referring to a local uscis field office. It looks like they are trying to say is that after they received your rfe they transferred it to the right office... My application is been at a uscis office from the beginning ...

I know and they told me processing time for Santa Ana office is 4 mos..wth???

and all I have to do is to wait..not really much help from the agent she just read all the updates from my case online...

Just checked my case was at NBC and the email says I will have an interview appointment from uscis office.

I think we are on track.... Best of luck lets just wait for an approval

We'd rather to have an interview and have GC within 10days rather than transfer to CSC and wait for months before approval....

I feel so frustrated sometimes.... But you right I try to keep busy (some) at work and yes I drive... Is not enough....
