To all the people who have gone or going to juarez for a K-1 VISA, how long did it take for you guys to recieve the invitation letter(the letter that you need in order to make the appointment and get into the consulate) from the consulate? And also who got it, the beneficiary or the petitioner or both? Any info will be greatly appreciated

My wife (fiancee then) did not get any letter. I got it. Then I called Juarez and the representative said I can start making my appointment. It didn't take long after my appilcation left NVC to get to Juarez. It was about two days at Juarez when they told me it's ready.

I then quickly made her appointments and scheduled my trip to Mexico. :)

our invitation letter was sent out july 27th and my fiance got it this past saturday so it took about a week for us to get it. We set up the appointment for exactly 2 weeks from today and my medical and the ASC is the day before. My spirits are very high and before I know it I will be in the US with the love of my life
