If I request for IRS tax transcript and I put my information, will it be the same if it would have been my husband's information?

We always filed jointly. I'm requesting this for my n400 filing this august.

How long will it takes for them to send us the transcript? and is there a fee?

thank you!

Since you filed your tax jointly I assume the primary in your tax return is your husband, when requesting transcripts you should use your husbands name and SSN. At an average, you'll get it within 5 days.

When providing the #SSN and DOB online on the IRS site, you have to enter info for the person whose name is shown first on the original return. In any case, tax transcripts are going to have both of your names listed if you filed jointly.

You should get them really fast, within a week or so, but IRS says to give them 10-15 days. There is no fee.

That sounds great! I will then just put my husband's info since he is the primary filer.

Did you guys re-use some paperwork that you submitted when you filed ROC?

I have our lease for our apt, bank info, and loans both under our name.. all these we sent during ROC, can we send this again together with the n400?
