Interesting that you judge an entire city that way. Not surprising, but interesting.

I guess we can say, according to your logic, that America has no values as a country because of the gun violence problem in many of its states/cities. That's a shame.

Chicago is known for it's pizza, wind, dead people voting, dirty police department, dirty politics, street gangs, shootings, murder, rape, and assaults....that's Chicago's values for you right there. When Chicago even begins to clean up it's act then you can tell me about that cities values in positive note. Until then Chicago will be known as the armpit of America right along with Detroit, Philly, St. Louis, and DC.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I'm not telling you about anyone's values. I've spent a lot of time in Chicago, and we clearly disagree, but that's not the point.

You're judging an entire city's values on its problems and that's unfair.

Let's say I'm a mass murder and serial rapist yet I'm in the pro homosexual agenda crowd. So that means I have "values" correct?

So a country, like America, that has issues of violence no longer has values as a country. Got it.

People are not cities or countries, so your attempt at a comparison fails. One person is ONE person and speaks only for themselves of their values. They do not represent anyone but themselves. So no, a person who is a mass murderer and serial rapist does not have values. But that doesn't mean the city or country they happen to live in doesn't.

Do the majority of the people in Chicago go around killing and raping each other? No. A group of people that DOES do those things do not define the place they live in.

I felt my IQ appreciably drop reading that.

Why do you write things like this? Is it supposed to be humorous?

I think he actually believes he's making a valid point.
