Hi, i want to know if anyone can answer the following question. Does the consulate in Ciudad Juarez give you an interview date for a K-1 Fiance Visa or is it something that can be scheduled by the petioner or beneficiary at a date that works for them. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi. Thank you for the info. I saw it before but never thought to call the numbers. From calling the (703) 439-2313 I found out that after the Embassy sends you the invitation letter you set up the Biometrics (ASC Finger Printing) then pay for the interview then call the number above with the reciept number for the paid interview fee and can schedule the appointment yourself and apparantly pick the date as long as they are not fully booked that day.

Yes, you will receive a letter with the links to the forms and site to set up the appointments. However, once you know your case was received at CDJ, you can go ahead and call the NVC(603-334-0700) to get the case#, invoice# and beneficiary ID# to go ahead and fill out the DS-260, other forms, pay and set up your appointments. The letter is only needed for you to bring with you to Juarez for the medical, ASC and interview. You do not have wait for the letter to get started, since it only points to the forms, instructions and site to schedule your appointments. I listed the links to all of those things in the post linked above. Just follow the instructions(http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ciudadjuarez/231771/PDFs/packetk1may.pdf)and you should be fine.

You have saved me much stress over having this fall on a day that would be difficult to attend. I say difficult because nothing would have kept us from going on any date. Its just easier when one is able to schedule something so important and have enough time to gather all the required info. Thank you thank you and thank you again.
