If anything, segregation is not a defense, so much as it is an indictment on our entire society. Segregation, as seen in the US and supported by Jim Crow laws were an American condition. The entire civilized world still cringes in disbelief that segregation existed in the USA as we were sending men into space.

Segregation official ,unofficial or by choice is so common place around the world (and in your city) that to think otherwise is telling of your knowledge on the subject.

PS: Jim crown ended in 65, the moon landing was in 69'.

Segregation by law, is an American trait, to be sure, not exclusively.

PS. The 66 GTO had a ram-air option.

Exclusively?

Ever been to Israel?

If you need more examples let me know.

I have. Who's segregated in Israel?

You're probably thinking of the land development model in the West Bank which creates separate Jewish settlements, but the West Bank ain't Israel.

Look it's okay to be wrong... it happens

but why act like you alone could not follow the link or figure out what were my words and those of a historical document.

Anyway continue on with your notion that the pilgrims were actually modern-day Anglican church.

I was referring to your second post, but thanks. I think I have now found out why I stick only to the immigration areas of this board, and confine my discussion of other issues to venues where people are capable of having logical, well-thought-out, correctly punctuated and spelled, civil conversations without resorting to personal digs at each other. It's nice: you should try it sometime!

I have not been to Israel and will lean on your info, I was under the impression schools and some housing was segregated.

The West bank is governed by Israel correct>

So if the USA were to do that in one of our territories that would be acceptable?

In which context?

Let me apologize, I misread something a few posts back.

Thought you wrote legal separation was elusively american when you actually wrote "not" exclusively.

Which prompted my following posts.

<"enough food to feed a whole army" is a common example of hyperbole>

It's a really bad hyperbole. There are 2 types of Christians. The left and the right. Majority are on the right and are very anti-choice when it comes to abortion and gay marriage. They also want to stop helping poor people. Then there are the ones on the left that are rare but support help for low income families by government (which is infinitely better at providing financial charity than churches which barely do a thing), they support freedom to marry any consenting adult, and side with the highest law of the land on abortion.

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

Lets be honest, it breaks down on the TRADITIONAL and NON TRADITIONAL.

The NON TRADITIONAL are typically from denominations in decline.

Whenever we have one of these situations the same question is always raised by those who (I guess) never learned basic Bible principles as children.

Lets go back to the Sunday school lesson most 10 yr olds should have down.

The Bible teaches man was in a perfect sinless place (The garden)

And now he is not.

The more serious question for me is -Why does God "sometimes" intervene?

Clearly expecting God to save every victim from harm.... heal every sick person..... protect every child from danger we would be asking God to intercede and make this a literal heaven.... which if you think about it, would be impossible as long as people have a free-will.

Yep free-will is the thing that screws everything up.

Why would most 10 year olds have this down? Are you insinuating that most people go to Sunday school?

God doesn't exist, most people know this.
