Hello to all. This is my first post. I do want to applaud you all because you have helped me so much through this journey. This is out story. I'm a USC married to a spaniard. We live in Spain. In January 2012 I sent out the i130 for my husband. On May 11 we got approved and it all went to NVC. In June we sent out our choice of agent and paid the AOS fee. Early July sent in the AOS paper work. On the 12 of July paid the visa fee and on the 16th sent the ds230 for hubby (via fedex) with all civil paperwork with translation and all. The thing that is driving me crazy is not knowing when he might get his interview for. Sometimes I think I'm gonna have a breakdown. The reason for this is that I have to get the kids ready for school in the USA and I start college on the 27 of Aug. I fear having to leave without him. And he is petrified of flying into the states alone. I know no one will be able to give me a specific date but any words of comfort will be greatly appreciated. Cause right now I feel like I'm in pause with everything. Thanks for taking out time to read this.

Have you tried calling NVC to ask for this information?

Considering you sent in your DS-230 on July 12, barring any RFEs your case should be closed.

I would recommend calling NVC everyday to see if there is an update on the interview being scheduled.

First of allThanks for all the advice and help. I think this forum is an excellent source of info. Next we've been approved and let me tell the fastest interview I could imagine. After my last post I called the NVC office and requested an expedited case. They approved and sent it out to Madrid, Spain around the 30th of July and around the 6 of AUG. got the interview date. Went for the medical on the 13 of AUG (yesterday) and went for the interview today. And that was all. APPROVED. We are super happy and excited to start this new and prosperous journey. Once more thanks and the best of luck to all.
