Mine is worst..It's been 300days (as of writing) and counting since our application was transferred to VSC and until now, we don't hear any word from them. It's just so hard to sit here and wait for NOA2 or am i going to give up on this..I am on IR Visa..

And yes i did send complaints VSC..Waiting for their reply in 15days i guess..

Reasons like is this is why more people NEED to complain! This is America. People who are assuming that there is nothing that can be done, are unaware of how change is brought about. If we all sit there and throw our hand up in the air and think oh they will get to me when they get to me, that's exactly how it will be! We paid for an outrageously high fee for this stupid application, there is absolutely no reason why people should be waiting 300 days to get some type of contact. There is no reason why the people who have been waiting since Jan should have to still be waiting, while CSC is moving along. I don't care if CSC was the problem last year because obiviously they figured something out to not be having the same issue this year! We need something even a statement from VSC explaining they are extremely behind and why, cause all I'm hearing right now are conspiracy theories.

Also sending emails will not backlog anything because most agency don't let just anyone handle complaints ( liability reasons), so the agents who process applications will not be the ones assigned to handling complaints.

WE THE PEOPLE do not have much of a say so in ANYTHING right now, due to our president. Has anyone not noticed the since obama has taken office, LEGAL IMMIGRATION has become more difficult and more expensive?? We can call all we want, but when we have a leader who doesnt care about us, the government doesnt really care ethier. Just tink about it for a minute...Ive only been waiting for almost 3 months now, but most have been waiting over their ususal waiting period...in the meantime our president has promised to help the Syrians in the US by giving the protected status so their visas will not expire and force them to have to leave and return to craziness in their country. You know, everytime Ive been to Peru to visit my fiancee, Ive been asked if We The People are really that stupid enough believe and vote for obama. Ive called our congressman about the tax hike he is wanting for my state here in Arkansas, and he tells me that he and the government know best. Sobhow in the heck are we supposed to get help from people like that?? We can complain all we want to, but We The People have been complaining for the past 4 year and no one in this government is listening. Best advice is to Pray and Keep Faith. They cant make us wait forever. But it should would feel amazingly Awesome to hold my Raquel my arms very soon. I dont know about everyone else, but I dont have the funds to go be with my fiancee every few months. I know its not easy, but we have to stay strong.

Sorry for typos..im using my cell phone....I also wanted to state that the reason I mentioned the Syrian fiasco is because VSC is the service center dealing with that. Secretary Janet Napolotano of the DHS said that this was their top priority at the moment..if that doesnt get the blood boiling then I dont know what will..grr :(

Can't disagree with everything. But the prices have gone down, not up. In fact, they went down not long after I filed our K1 petition. I was hoping for a refund

Well yeah..i did forget about the actual visa fee at the interview..and If I sounded like I was bashing America, im sorry...I love our country and we are truly blessed, but it is this new "we the government knows whats best for you" that I dont like...its dadburn frustrating..I just hope someting will click a VSC and get the ball rolling..will filef in may and with a lot of jan filers not recieving noa2's yet, and dont even what to think about how long it COULD be before we hear anything..we all know that our money has probably already been spent by the government while we still sit here waiting..guess i just had to vent a little..i know before too long we will all be saying this wait was nothing at all..and it wont be anything compared to spending the rest of our lives with our loves. :) the waiting is not so tough..its just I know i cant afford another trip to Peru to be with my Raquel until our interview :(..or at least it seems that way for now...but we'll make it. :) BTW HAPPY BIRTHDAY PERU!!!!! :D

Que Saudade..just noticed you are Braves fan..you're good in my book, me too! :D

You can expect a full 6 months to get your I-129 approved. Look at our timeline. While I thought it was too long, it is actually sorta average.

The problem now is that we are stuck at CSC which is going drastically slow for AOS for family based petitions. Ughh.... Looks like we will be waiting 8-9 months at the rate it is going now.

Good luck

I guess in your case it may be prudent to get a elected official to inquire on your behalf.

Yes, my husband went to Senator's office and after one week still no news about it..

I-130 Submitted ---- 09/16/2011

NOA 1 ---- 09/21/2011

I-130 Approved ------ 04/30/2013

NVC Case Number -- 05/14/2013

Medical Exam ------ 05/28/2013

Case Complete ------- 08/06/2013

Interview -------- 09/09/2013

Visa Arrived ---------- 10/17/2013

POE SFO ------------- 10/21/2013

Delays maybe inevitable, but misery is optional!

Do not expect an immediate reply. It still takes several weeks even with elected official involved. And remember, they can only "inquire" on your behalf. Not intervene.

yeah, i'm sure you are all right about that, they are not going to respond in any positive manner to any sort of criticism of what they do or how they do it, but right now at 6 months and 1 week of waiting with no movement it gets very frustrating, and yes i sent an email to my congressman and it's the typical canned response. something needs to be done about this or it's just going to be a domino effect... if we january filers are waiting this long don't you think this will add up to everyone's wait time down the line..i'm sure the folks that are sitting at the 2,3 and 4 month mark really don't want to think about not having a noa2 at the 5, 6 or 7 month mark..

I have been waiting 8 months.... It's the Vermont service center!!! They are so backed up!!
