Job in US Army

As I have already mentioned about my status and other,so don't want to write too long description. What I really want to know is what are the requirements to get selected in US Army as it one of the job that I really want to get involved in.

I am starting my process with the Army. The recruiter will be actually happy to answer your questions. I will see how far this goes, in terms of passing each test. On Monday I am taking the second test (info can be found at www.march2success.com). I was actually contacted by them after I entered my resume at monster.com for the Linguist position. I could go either for active duty or reserve, but everyone goes to Basic Combat Training.

I ran into an issue with them when I wanted to do reserve. I tried to go in around Nov 2010 and my 2 year GC expired in Jan 2011. They wouldn't take me till I had my new card (well we know how long *that* takes, thank you Vermont. And since I couldn't go in before January 2011 I passed the new lowered maximum age.

Turned out the job I wanted to do, Civil Affairs carries a clearance requirement anyway which I couldn't get.
