I thought coming here was a way to blow off some USCIS frustration and meet new people. :)

Haha, not quite.

Well, maybe the first part. But, nothing can replace real social interaction with actual people, face to face, out in your community. Spending too much time online will probably make you feel more isolated.

I think joining a gym is a good idea of you have the money. I joined a free community yoga class while I was waiting too, met some very nice ladies. Also the library. I've been here almost 2 years and only now feel really settled and part of this community. It might take a while OP, but it won't just happen to you, you have to work for it.

Aren't they suppose to process the application on a First come first serve basis?? or are they just pulling out the application from a crock of sh***t???

I am getting annoyed of their unorderly and unjust process. While some of my fellow APRIL filers have started getting their approvals, all I could do each day is to refresh their freakin' update website but there is no update recently!!!

I have nothing against to those who have been approved. I am just unhappy of the process, having to pay for at least 1000++ for an unjust process.

I have to call to USCIS hotline and speak to agents reading their scripts all the time and providing no help at all other than to be verbative about their jobs. Ended up given a service request asking me to waiting another 15days of hell waiting!!

These bastards in the USCIS does not have proper procedure in this process..I am unemployed and sit doing nothing (except to cook, clean, watch) and feel worthless at home!! I want to start work but these jerks at USCIS are not doing things properly, they are holding up my life!!!

Extremely frustrated, dunno what to do else!!!

197 days and counting.

4,728 hours and counting,

17,020,800 seconds and counting....

We called on Tuesday evening after work, and was placed on hold for an hour to talk to a Tier-2, and the call was disconnected before being able to speak to someone at Tier-2.

Will attempt to call this evening, and hopefully we'll be able to get through without an extensive wait time over phone.

Im waiting on my EAD/AP too. To make the waiting easier Ive taken up a new hobby. I sew as much as I can now having never done it before. I recently had my second wedding and made everything I could. Bunting, fabric birds to go in the flowers, table center pieces. Now the wedding is over, im cross stitching a lot, embroidering and Ive bought some patterns so I can make some handbags, totes and aprons. Hopefully my EAD will come through soonish but Im prepared for the wait. I cant get a driving license without my EAD so Im kinda stuck but trying to make the best of things.

Why not take up baking, cooking, jogging, photography, walking, reading, writing. Or as someone suggested, volunteer somewhere. Sitting around and feeling sorry for yourself is just going to make things worse for you. Be positive!

Does it mean that if you submit AOS with EAD and AP (each have different receipt numbers), all of those three will be approved by difference people/diff centers?

like AOS is for Missouri(National Benefits Center), how about the two(EAD&AP)??

EAD and AP are processed together, they're on the same card.

Here's an idea: focus less on frustration over the 'waiting' part because there is nothing you can do about it now and start exploring the job market and applying NOW. Do you know how long it takes, on average, to land A JOB from the day you start looking? It takes months. Chances are, you won't be able to find a job before you get your green card anyway. You could.. I wish you do...but I also wish you had better chances at that.

P.S. the best way to find what your salary is, is to start looking at what's available... on job postings...

I think what you should do is not wait or don't go to their website and refresh the case status page...it will just make you feel more frustrated if you don't see any changes in your case.

In my experience the more I wait about any updates the more I get irritated but I can't do anything about it so just wait and make yourself busy with other stuff. I know it's hard to wait but that's what we have to do there's tons of application for sure that they have to review and process and it's not like just a single piece of paper that they will read and understand they have to check, they have verify the authenticity of all the documents that they received. remember it's people from most part of the world are trying to send application to USCIS that for sure is a lot of paperwork to deal with.

I understand what you feel, me too is just at home doing chores, cooking, laundry  and a lot of sad and depressing moments but you got to keep yourself busy, strong and happy which is the hardest part.
