I don't know much about this subject, but I have seen that (some, a few, have seen more cases lately) guys coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan have been having issues and need help coping with this. In the states I have seen more and more cases where the man or woman comes home from serving their country and they don't feel they can fit in and the family sttuggles and has serious issues. It may be he just needs to sit down and talk with someome from the Army.

I definitely do not condone his behavior and I think anyone in this type of relationship needs to get out, but this one might be out of his control too. Seeing an expert in this area and cut the drinking for a while might change him 180 degrees. Maybe you will need to threaten divorce unless he goes and talks with someone, don't do this while he is drinking, but when you two are getting along..

Good luck and hope I hope things change for the better..

There are a lot of issues here that sound similar to Post Tramatic Stress Disorder. I would recommend that you are very careful and do everything you can to keep yourself and your child safe. Obviously I'm not saying 100% that's what the issue is, but it can be extrememly dangerous.

Hi again Newbie. You are so right when you speak about the trials we walk along. And Jesus said he would never leave us nor forsake us.I am married to a wonderful filipina from Calumpit.I do not understand why you would want to be with this guy.I know he is your husband but this guy has no respect for your child or your family or you.You said he even yell at your mother.Well to me that would be the fast track for him to be kicked out of your home and life.first you should be thinking of your safety along with your child and family.i do not care what you may think will help him it will not be soon enough for you all.i would tell him to leave and never come around again.Do you not see the big red flags here. This guy said he would kill you and the way he talks to everyone else I do not think he is saying these things just to blow off smoke. This guy means it.So do your self a favor and your family.you need to let this guy go and not listen to him beg you to let him back in your life....I do not think the Lord wants your life and childs life in danger..
