Topic has been moved from Site Discussion forum to the Caribbean Regional forum as it requests information about a Cuba specific situation

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

The Carta Blanca and the medical are paid at the same time - it's 150 for the carta blanca and 400 cuc for the medical - (at least was true last year) - it is nonrefundable - you pay it at the end once you are approved by the U.S. and you go to the bank to pay it. They also look to see if you have property. After the interview with the U.S. in Havana, you go to immigration in your town and they will also interview you about debts and property. Then they tell you when to go the bank and the immigration office gives you the papers you need for the bank. Then after you pay at the bank, you go back to immigration and show them you paid and then they put the stamp in your passport.

Hope this is helpful and good luck with your journey.

The key to this is if its done seprate but at the same time one receipt or two we have just one paper from immigration everything is done except this which they dont explain and the bank knows nothing! I beleive its paid seprate
