Hi!

I received back my original submission of I-485 concurrent with I-130 due to incorrect address on I-485. Erroneously original submission indicated immigrant home address abroad. My original submission has been reordered and secured with staples with I-797C attached as cover letters for I-130, I-485 and I-765. In structuring my resubmission I have corrected the I-485 to indicate the current USA address where the immigrant is in residence. I have written and attached a cover letter indicating the new form is the corrected current address of residence and placed this on top of the whole package returned to me by the USCIS. I did nothing to alter their order except to remove the green sheet letter and place this on the top of everything as this letter instructs for special attention for continuation of processing. The new resubmission package will be placed in a USPS express mail envelope and be sent back to the chicago lock box over night.

I want to know if this is the best format to resubmit the whole package in. Thanks for the advice

Not positive as this is the DCF forum and we don't really touch I-485s when DCFing but the main thing I would say is this all sounds good with only one exception: I would remove any staples! USCIS will need to sort your papers into its own order and stapling means they might accidentally tear a form or paper when they try to move papers around. If you want to keep them bound, use a paper clip or one of those thicker binder clips, but don't use staples. Other than that your packet sounds thorough! Good luck!

Long story short, we have a complicated case. We've been at this for nearly 5 years. You can read our story here. I highly recommend our attorney Laurel Scott, as well as attorneys Laura Fernandez and Lizz Cannon .

Filed I-130 via CSC in Feb 2008. Petition approved June 2008. Consular interview in Mexico, Oct 2008, visa denied, INA 212a6cii. We allege improper application of the law in this case.

2012, started over in Seoul: I-130 filed DCF on 7/2, I-130 approved 8/8, Medical at Yonsei Severance 11/20, IR1 appointment in November 2012.

CRBA filed 1-3-13 at Seoul for our daughter
