The terrorist would love nothing more than to have the dems control things because they know that the dems want to cut and run and let them win.

3. attack on USS Cole
   
4. 9-11 attacks
   

All of the above planned and executed by al-Qaeda (also note that #'s 1 and 2 occured while Bush Jr. was TX governor and BEFORE he even decided to RUN for president)!

Since it has been STATED, I'll ask... How was Iraq involved in ANY of those events?

It wasn't -- the idea was to have a breeding ground for terrorists just so we could keep

them all in the same place.

That said, I oppose the war in Iraq on purely financial grounds. The war is costing us

almost $2 billion a week -- the money would be better spent at home on domestic

infrastructure and national security projects.

Total Unintentional-Injury Deaths

The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) released its final count of 109,277 unintentional-injury deaths for 2003. The death rate was 37.6 per 100,000 population.

NCHS also released its preliminary estimates for 2004 based on data that was about 90% complete. The preliminary estimate of unintentional-injury deaths was 108,694 with a death rate of 37.0 per 100,000 population.

The former Iraqi leader and six co-defendants were on trial for their roles in Operation Anfal, a military offensive against the Kurds in 1987-88. Prosecutors say some 180,000 Kurds were killed and hundreds of villages destroyed.

I say "potentially" since it is doubtful that many Iraqis would have died had Saddam remained in power.
