Since my local office don't have same day oath taking, I will have my oath at later date. Just checked the status online awhile ago, as of today, I was placed for oath scheduling queue and they're sending me letter for the schedule. How nice! I asked the lady if I could have my oath taking later in January next year 'coz I am due to give birth this December. I really hope so 'coz I don't want to reschedule stuffs when comes to USCIS.

2-year green card application:

07/29/2009- Mailed I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864, I-864A, G-325A, I-765 via USPS.

08/02/2009- Package delivered to Chicago.

08/06/2009- Checks cashed.

08/10/2009- Received NOA's for I-485, I-130, I-765 (issued August 6th).

08/19/2009- Recieved Biometrics Appointment notice (bio apt 9/12 at 9am).

08/21/2009- Recieved RFE for I-485 (issued August 17th).

08/22/2009- Responded to RFE.

09/01/2009- Case processing resumed (RFE recieved on 8/27/2009).

09/01/2009- Walk-in biometrics at 1:00pm, in and out in 15mins.

09/09/2009- Recieved e-mail: EAD card production ordered on 09/08/2009.

09/14/2009- Recieved another e-mail: EAD card production ordered (AGAIN!) on 09/11/2009.

09/16/2009- EAD recieved in the mail.

I had my interview today, and everything went well. After the interview, the officer asked, "So are you okay with December 13 for the oath ceremony or is it too soon for you?". I said I am totally fine with December 13. In addition to the Naturalization Interview Results (N-652), he handed me the Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony (N-445) and walked me out :).

So what does "Your application has been recommended for approval" on N-652 mean? Are they going to review my application one more time? Is my approval still in doubt?

I am still waiting for my oath taking letter. I think recommended for approval letter is a standard way for them to let you know that you are approved but just want to double check documents.

I got same letter then a week after I am in queue for oath taking ceremony.

Lifting Condition (I-751)

09/09/2011 - Sent the package to CSC

09/13/2011 - CSC received the package

09/15/2011 - CSC cashed check and NOA1 Received

09/26/2011 - Biometrics Appointment Notice Date (Sent)

10/13/2011 - Early Biometrics

10/19/2011 - Biometrics Appointment

10/26/2011 - GC expiration

11/25/2011 - Received RFE

11/28/2011 - Sent response to RFE

01/13/2012 - Ordered card production (Approved)

Thanks for asking! The interview was not bad. H e only asked me for my green card and my state id, no other docs. Did ask me several questions relating to marriage in some way. The total time was probably 20-25 mins. My case got "recommended for approval", so he said someone will review it and if they agree with his decision, then I will get scheduled for an oath ceremony. Hopefully, the wait won't be that long...

2-year green card application:

07/29/2009- Mailed I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864, I-864A, G-325A, I-765 via USPS.

08/02/2009- Package delivered to Chicago.

08/06/2009- Checks cashed.

08/10/2009- Received NOA's for I-485, I-130, I-765 (issued August 6th).

08/19/2009- Recieved Biometrics Appointment notice (bio apt 9/12 at 9am).

08/21/2009- Recieved RFE for I-485 (issued August 17th).

08/22/2009- Responded to RFE.

09/01/2009- Case processing resumed (RFE recieved on 8/27/2009).

09/01/2009- Walk-in biometrics at 1:00pm, in and out in 15mins.

09/09/2009- Recieved e-mail: EAD card production ordered on 09/08/2009.

09/14/2009- Recieved another e-mail: EAD card production ordered (AGAIN!) on 09/11/2009.

09/16/2009- EAD recieved in the mail.

09/21/2009- Applied for a SSN.

09/30/2009- Recieved SSC.

10/14/2009- Received interview notice (Interview on 11/16 at 9:35am)

11/16/2009- Interview,APPROVED and CARD production ordered e-mail!Yay!

11/19/2009- Welcome Notice Recieved and Card production ordered e-mail again!

11/27/2009- Received green card in the mail!

Removal of Conditions:

09/09/2011- Sent the package via Priority mail, with delivery confirmation.

09/12/2011- Package delivered.

09/13/2011- Check cashed.

09/14/2011- NOA issued and received on 09/17/2011.

09/15/2011- Biometrics appointment issued for 10/05

Im still waiting for my oath letter . It almost has been two months since I passed my interview . Senstor's office confirmed that my application has been granted final approval and is in procces of scheduling for the oath ceremony . But, man, it is a long wait ;(

Good news (I think)! I received the yellow letter today, stating I should bring my state-issued Id or driver license. It's not the interview letter, but at least it shows some sort of movement for the NY office. My online status is still the same, in line for interview scheduling and I am getting close to the 90 day mark, which will be Dec 7th. Just thought I'd share this with you guys, especially my fellow Ny-ers, who are probably as impatient as I am.
