Have to go back and get fingerprints redone on Oct 5th. Originals weren't readable.I had trouble when I had to get fingerprinted to become a substitute teacher, 3 times I had to get them taken, eventually they just had to accept the final ones.Told the guy that when I was getting them done 10 days ago, but he seemed to think they'd be OK, obviously not. Just glad it's not rescheduled on a school day.

Celtic59 when did you have your first BIO taken? and when did you hear about having to redo it? did you get an status change?

Celtic59 when did you have your first BIO taken? and when did you hear about having to redo it? did you get an status change?

first one was Sept 19th, got notification 2 days ago to go in and redo it. No the status hasn't changed on my page.

Tyrobe, I think I may have seen you in the Service Center.. I was there too the 19th of September for 1pm appts.

Just noticed you were at the same day when I looked at the timelines. It was nice to have someone on the same boat with me. Good luck to us.

December 31st, 2007: Engaged!

November 4th, 2008: Received official confirmation that first K1 packet has been received by USCIS.

January 20th, 2009: Received NOA2, confirming that the K1 petition has been approved.

February 10th, 2009: Kat receives Packet 3 from Sydney consulate.

February 18th, 2009: Medical Exam.

March 4th, 2009: Medical exam results received.

March 30th, 2009: Kat mails out Packet 3 to consulate (11:45pm!)

April 7th, 2009: Received Packet 4. Interview scheduled for April 21st at 9am.

April 21st, 2009: Visa Interview @ Sydney Consulate. PASSED!!! :)

May 21st, 2009: POE @ SFO.

July 11th, 2009: Married.

August 13th, 2009: Filed for AOS.

August 20th, 2009: Received NOAs for I-485 & I-765

September 19, 2009: Biometrics Interview

October 3rd, 2009: Received EAD card in mail.

November 24th, 2009: Received Welcome Notice & 2yr PRC!!

September 21st, 2011: Filed I-751 for 10 year PRC

July 3rd, 2012: Received 10 year PRC in mail.

August 27th, 2012: Filed N-400.

August 29th, 2012: N-400 Application received by Arizona service center.

September 4th, 2012: Electronic notice received confirming receipt of application.

October 24th, 2012: Biometrics appointment

December 19th, 2012: Interview letter received. Interview set for January 23rd, 2013.

Just finished my test and interview.

Questions asked

What do we show allegiance to?

Who vetoes the bill?

Who did US fight in WW2?

What is the supreme law of the land?

What is your State capital?

... can't remember the sixth question!

I was asked to read and write very simple sentence., followed by going over my N400 application.

At the end I was given a white sheet marked that I passed all the test and that I was recommended for approval. Told to wait for the oath letter.

My letter is packed away but did early Bio the day I got my letter as I happened to be off work that day - will update letter date appointment date later but think it was for mid sept.

My status was finally registered and says as of Aug 21 , I should get an interview date in 90 days (though ####### said 30 for weeks) from then - so playing the waiting game

Anybody got their interview letter after being in queue for interview recently? Still waiting for my interview letter. I am hoping to have it soon so that I would know when I will have my interview and hoping to have my oath before I give birth. :innocent:

You'll probably get the letter within a few days, and date a month or so after the date on the letter. That puts you in early November (theoretically). Congratulations!

from the 30 samples around my application #, 6 of them today either went from initial review to in line for interview or scheduled for interview.

out of 30, 8 still in initial review, 15 in line for interview and 7 scheduled for interview.
