Dear friends

We've been assigned with the case number at NVC. Praised be the lord for that.

I have the following question now, is there a way to know if my fiancee (petitioner) needs to go with me (beneficiary) to the interview?

Thanks in advance for you kind answer

Best Regards,

Roniel & Ashley

It's a country specific embassy related question about if petitioner should go for an interview or not. If US Consulate allows USC petitioner to go inside with the beneficiary during an interview, then it's always helpful. For example, US Consulate in Mumbai, India does not allow USC petitioner to go inside with the beneficiary for an interview. Check with your US consulate in Venezuela.

ya it varies by country. for venezuela the petitioner is allowed at the interview but doesnt have to be there. I recommend going it can help alot.

What Rade said + you can always check the Embassy Reviews for Venezuela. You'll find experiences from others who went through that consulate. good.gif

Hold your horses..... Guayaquil, Ecuador? Your profile says Venezuela. If you are going through Guayaquil the USC HAS to be present at the interview.

Guayaquil is one of the toughest consulates around the world, and you'll want to make sure you are prepared for what's going to come your way. Start reading reviews and do your homework. It could be a very unpleasant experience if you don't. good.gif

Please, edit your profile with the correct information. The flag seems like a small detail, but you have NO idea how different one consulate is from the other.

Hi Celeste

Yes I'm from Venezuela but I live in Ecuador. I've been here for 4 years. I already read all the reviews but no one has my case.

I'll check with the Consulate to find out if she needs to be here with me for the interview.
