me and a lawyer and VJ

my wife said we should hire a lawyer i said no baby we can do this alone i know how to do this and she is like come on you cant do it ....ok ,well contacted an a$$hole lawyer filed the forms and took the visa package from us that was given me back in the POE when the officer should have kept it .

a lot of people here on VJ wondering why i keep asking questions all the time on here? well i tell you what ,i know better than an immigration lawyer does i got an immigration talet just from here from people experinces....after 5 months we heard nothing new from the lawyer its been always the same bla bla bla i started getting pissed off and i decided to go and my wife said that if we fire the lawyer we would screw everything up and i will not get my GC but in my mind i know what iam doing and iam pretty sure because i went to an immigration school called (visa journey) :)we went to the lawyer and i told him that i was going to fire him and i taught him a lot of stuff about the immirgation ,believe me he did not like me at all ,but THIS F...LAWYER DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE IMMIGRATION,i took my papers and i was mad because it was a waste of time when i know what to do and he just took money from my wife ,my wife did not like that idea of me firing the lawyer ,she said i would miss everything up i said i know what iam doing ,i chcked the forms that the lawyer filed and i found a lot of mistakes ,i had to file everything by myself and throw his forms in the trush container ,so i put everything in a big envolpe including the visa package that was given back to me at the POE and i wrote a letter explaining everything to the USCIS and telling them about the lawyer,guess what???? we got NOA after 4 days wow yay yay ,see lawyer got to be the very stupid people really trust me ,i called USCIS because i had a question and i talked a very nice lady she talked to me a lot and she adviced me and she told me a lot of stuff she was very nice.well guys my advice is :the USCIS is very easy to deal with just send what they ask for and NEVER HIRE A LAWYER ,NEVER EVER EVER. thanks guys and good luck.

You got that right NEVER hire a lawyer they will screw you in the azz and take your money lol. Back in the day when i had to file my wifes applaction for the CR1- K3 it was easy never had to use a lawyer just help from my wife and VJ and i called USCIS a few times for help we put our heads together and the whole process was done in around 8 months.

I hate closing threads but it is unfair to bash lawyers like this since like in any field there will be good/bad/inbetween type of people in skill and personality. It is always fair to express dissapointment or anger if you are mistreated but I fear this thread could just become nasty and create blanket statements that are not carefully thought through.
