Hi everyone, I wanted to know anyone who has Jan 18th NOA1 getting NOA2 recently. I am waiting since more than 6 months and have tried everything that I could. Today is my 189th day of waiting and still there is no luck:(

USCIS:

12/06/2011 - Married

01/17/2012 - I-130 Sent

01/18/2012 - NOA1 Date

07/30/2012 - NOA2 Email Received (194 Days since NOA1)

NVC:

07/30/2012 - Case arrived at NVC building

08/20/2012 - Received case #, IIN, gave both e-mail addresses

08/20/2012 - E-mailed DS-3032 (used email template & also attached scanned copy)

08/27/2012 - AOS bill invoiced & PAID online

08/28/2012 - AOS bill appears as PAID

08/29/2012 - DS-3032 accepted

08/30/2012 - IV bill invoiced & PAID online

08/31/2012 - IV bill appears as PAID

08/31/2012 - AOS Package sent (via priority mail)

08/31/2012 - IV Package sent (via priority mail)

09/04/2012 - NVC received both packets (due to weekend & labor day holiday)

09/11/2012 - AOS/I-864 accepted

09/17/2012 - RFE for DS-230 ques 30

09/19/2012 - Mailed new DS-230 by overnight mail

09/21/2012 - New DS-230 delivered at NVC

10/01/2012 - IV Package accepted

10/01/2012 - Case Complete

10/02/2012 - Interview date assigned by email

Mumbai Consulate:

10/05/2012 - Medical Done (Got the report on same day)

11/07/2012 - Interview @ Mumbai Consulate (Result: APPROVED)

11/09/2012 - Passport Pick up

11/22/2012 - POE Atlanta

My husband has tried doing that and they said on Friday 20th they were going to contact USCIS. Generally, how much time does a senator take to get reply from USCIS? Any idea?

Still waiting on 191th day :(

Hi Krutika,

I'm sorry you haven't heard yet but hang in there, don't worry as I am sure it's on it's way....I felt just like you did up until a few weeks ago. We filed on Jan 27th & we got our NOA2 from Vermont on July 9th...my USC fiance was visiting me in the UK at the time & we went to the UAE for a holiday. By the time we were back, I called the NVC in New Hampshire on Monday & they said our case had already left them on the 18th & been sent to my embassy in London so now I am waiting for contact from them. I had been worrying the whole 5 months too & I didn't expect to get a NOA2 right on time so yours is coming, be positive! :)

I have started losing hope, today is the 192nd day and the wait is still on... All excitement has gone about recieving the NOA2, I am not sure how actually I will be when i actually get it

We all understand the stress & pressure...I know until you get the NOA2, it's hard to be excited & you just constantly think the worst. Please try be positive & remember we're all in the same boat...thank god we can all discuss it here. Remember the NOA2 is great but then there's the whole next set of forms, and really nothing has happened until you have passed the medical & interview so even though I was so relieved to get the NOA2, I knew the big hurdles were still ahead of me. So my point is, try not to get down at this stage as there's still a long way to go & it's important to be positive for you & your fiance. Good luck
