Yes some members are careless and others do not even fill out their timelines. If they did it would be more helpful to all of us waiting.

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

AOS approved 8/24/13

some are indicating dates of NOA2s on weeekends. Federal Goverment will hardly issue an approval on a holiday. I have a feeling some timelines are not genuine just to consfuse us more.

Just go by the 5 month guideline on the USCIS website. If you get to 6 months and haven't been approved then you can contact your local representative/senator. My NOA2 was adjudicated weeks after my estimated time on VJ. It is nice to have an estimate but it isn't accurate due to user error and people not updating their timelines.

Mail is delivered on weekends. That one day difference is not material.

The process requires patience.

my mistake was i was relying on memeber timelines. I think i will just wait for six months. i was excited when my date was near and seen approvals past my NOA1 date.

Yes, I remember your previous thread about this. Cases are not adjudicated in order, sometimes they are processed faster than others for no reason, or maybe they have extenuating circumstances, maybe they are military, there are many reasons. There is also the chance that they entered the dates wrong on VJ. As I said, just wait for 5 months, if it comes early then it will be a nice surprise. You can start to investigate if there are any issues with your case if you reach the 6 month mark. It will be over before you know it. :)

Some people put the date that they received the piece of mail notifying them of their case status. Others put the date that is on the NOA or letter.

K-1 Visa
04-29-2011: I-129F Sent
05-05-2011: I-129F NOA1
07-18-2011: I-129F NOA2
08-08-2011: NVC Received
08-09-2011: NVC Left
08-10-2011: Consulate Received
08-26-2011: Consulate mailed Packet 3 (invitation letter)
09-01-2011: Packet 3 (invitation letter) Received in US
09-10-2011: Packet 3 (invitation letter) Received in Mexico
09-22-2011: Interview: APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10-04-2011: DHL Waybill number appears in the afternoon
10-05-2011: Picked up visa from DHL office
11-08-2011: POE Houston, Texas

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)

May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

You have filled your timeline in incorrectly, so it is giving you the wrong date. You have only been waiting 3 months, so you won't be receiving anything yet. Change your service center to the right one. :bonk:
