There is hiring going on in certain sectors, especially technology. However, its not broad enough to make in a meaningful difference in job creation.

That is a well thought out statement and I don't disagree.

When people spout obvious lies like "everyone" is firing, it's important to call out the lies.

Yes, you're positive of everything. Whether you're correct is another issue.

No one is hiring in Mississippi - that's your claim and you're sticking to it?

What is your point? That in a whole state there are some sales and truck driving jobs available? Great point. You haven't addressed all the people who are being fired by these people with the huge tax breaks. The unemployment rate is higher than the national average here, explanation?

Your claim was that all the job creators were firing, not hiring.

"all" - your word, not mine.

Had you started off saying job growth in MS was anemic and lagging the national average, no one would have cared.. because it's true.

But you decided to lie to make a point.

Debate via spectacle is clearly your style. Too bad you're not very good at it.

Your idea of debate is to constantly attack someone. It's really quite funny how easy it is to make you mad and get you to react. Just because your opinion doesn't coincide with facts doesn't mean you are right. Opinion is not fact...

Truck driving? I see pages and pages of jobs - all kinds. Sales, engineering, customer service, technical support, managers, supervisors, software developers, financial analysts, security, nurses, accountants - and that's just the first 2 pages.

You haven't addressed all the people who are being fired by these people with the huge tax breaks.

Please be specific. Who are "these people with the huge tax breaks"?

Your state has fewer skilled workers than other states which have better education systems.

The ones that you claimed get tax breaks and "a lot" of people are upset that the tax breaks might end for them. Remember? The "rich".

Let us look at the list. The first job is in Memphis. Then there is a long list of spam sales jobs. There are two jobs in my region on the first page, one is spam, the second is with the government. How many of these employers are the "rich" job creators who deserve all these tax cuts? Hersheys? Terminix, Lockheed Martin? Nasa? National Guard?

National Institutes of Health has a new trend of hiring scientists as contractors rather than as federal employees. It's cheaper and not permanent, and this is a result of budget cuts. Just because someone hires a contractor, it does not make them a customer.

Then, you are a customer, not an employer.

Anyway - do poor people create jobs? They do. Either out of necessity or as enterprise, when there is a good customer base and profits to be made. All you need is access to loans and if you have a good credit score and a good business model, you can do it. Even if you are poor.
