I am poor and I just hired someone for a very part time job, because I needed them. I do not receive any handouts though. I wish I did, I deserve them more than most

Ever been hired by a poor person?

Are you paying their FICA for them? Medical insurance? Unemployment insurance? Reporting their wages to the IRS, state, and local governments? Did they fill out an I-9 for you? Do you even have an EIN? You wouldn't want to cheat the government, in case you decide to work for them later.

Seriously, hiring a plumber or a baby sitter is hardly "job creation".

Don't have to. Due to my poverty and temporary nature of the job, I will not be able to pay them enough to be required to do all that.

AND if I had to pay FICA, unemployment etc, I would not be able to pay them enough to even want the job.

It isn't? Interesting.

What do you consider a job then? Would you consider hiring a peach picker - a job creation? If yes, what's the difference?
