hey cool! did you file with your spouse or you sent everything in by mail? Did you send a letter in with the reasons you're DCF-ing?

I think the process may vary depending on which embassy you're filing at. We live very near the embassy here in Manila so my wife and I just went on down in person and submitted the papers. I did submit a brief letter explaining the details of my case, but I'm not sure how necessary that is. Anything they don't want they just hand back to you so it can't hurt to type something up, especially if the procedure where you are is for the papers to be mailed in instead of in person.
