My husband calls me a worrywart.....but seriously, it this normal?

Got married Nov 18th 2011, filed for AOS 1-485 Dec 6th 2012. Now its July 22nd 2012...And we haven't heard a word from Immigration.

How long should we wait, is this normal, is there anyway we can contact them? It is in California right now...

Any input from the experienced ones out there?

Thank you

Tina

Welcome to the CSC black hole. There are tons of posts regarding the wait out of CSC right now. Based on the reading I have been doing, you should be pretty close to hearing something. You can always try calling to see what response they give you.

Good Luck

We filed Dec 2-3, received NOA dated Dec 6. On Dec 26 or 27, transferred to CSC. Once the 5 months were up, I started calling. Every call brought a different story from the rep, but in the first one I had managed to get them to enter a 'where is my GC' inquiry. GC approval notice towards end of June and in hand by 4th of July.

I think it would depend on when you got transferred, but I would also think you are about to get news.

Lycka till!

We did not get an interview. GC was just approved and showed up

I agree with the previous poster. My gal and I waited exactly 7 months from submittal, biometrics, to receiving the 2-year green card.

Good luck!

Sid
