Oh my gosh!! Is anyone watching the game??? That was THE play of this series! That kid is gonna be the toast of NY if the Mets win tonight. I nearly fainted!! :dance: Man, over the fence and a snow cone catch to double up the guy trying to get back to first! Ok but Perez needs to be taken out of the game.

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

11/30/2007 - I-751 Mailed to Nebraska

12/28/2007 - NOA Received (application has been forwarded to California)

01/09/2008 - Biometrics taken in St. Louis

03/27/2008 - I-751 Approved, 10 Yr Greencard in the mail !!

12/20/2016 - N-400 mailed to Phoenix lockbox

01/17/2017 - NOA Received

01/25/2017 - Attended biometrics in St. Louis

09/29/2017 - Received I-797C notice dated 09/27/17.  Interview Scheduled for November 6th @ 8am

11/06/2017 - N400 interview in St. Louis.  Approved !!:jest:

02/05/2018 - Notice of Oath Ceremony date received.  March 1st, 2018 @ 8.30am

I am a fan of the axis of evil (Yankees) but I have to give Chavez his props as well!!

May the best team win! I am still glad I saw that catch with my own eyes.

Dave and I have our webcams on right now but he's watching the game and I'm not..... he doesn't have his webcam pointed to the tv... he knows I'm not so into baseball and I'm reading stuff online while he watches that. That's why I didn't see the catch... I just heard his scream. Got it? :P:thumbs:

Congrats to Mark and Gary!!! Great game - sad for NYC but Cards deserved this game. Mets had many opportunies and could not get it done. I feel bad for them, but those are the breaks.

I can't imagine going American league loyalty and rooting for Detroit in World Series, so go Cards! :lol:

MEts had more thanenough chances to win that game!! I was sort of rooting for the cardsa, but didnt matter. Who watches a called 3rd strike with loaded bases 2 outs, ouch!! Will be rooting for the tigers. hard to belive was just last yr that they were the laughing stock of the league, now soon to be world champs!! When it comes down to it, I just hope its exciting ball to watch and no blow outs.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Yeah, I have to admit that was one heck of a catch! Thank goodness the Thrashers has just won in a shootout or otherwise I'd never have seen it. Pretty cool about the double play too. :)
