Urgent advice needed

i'm a green card holder since 07/05/2010 category IR1

my wife have a work contract abroad also do i i work at the same country where she worked because we have a kid to support and pay for our mortgage in usa

we are finding hard time to find job in usa and on my last entry i faced a problem because i'm not living in usa and immigration officer say this is my last chance to think about my GC status

so what should i do i need to go outside usa for at least 3 month to sell my staff and get paid my money outside usa and try to find a job which is very difficult:-(( can anybody advice what is the better solution for my case i need an advice urgent and if i went out will i be able to enter or i will have a problem and canceling my GC .
