NOA 2 VSC

Good morning fellow VJ users,

On February 3rd I received the NOA1 for the I130's filled for my wife and step son. Waited patiently for 5 months, hoping (as everybody else)that VSC will stand by their 5 month processing time. I called the USCIS number and spoke to a live operator a couple of weeks ago. I've been told that VSC was processing files from January 23rd. I called back the following week, and I heard the same story. I called this past Monday, and guess what: they were still processing January 23rd. My surprize came yesterday, when I called again: VSC was processing files from....FEBRUARY 28th. The customer service rep was unable to explain the mirracle, nor to offer an explanation why my files were missed. I asked for an action notice, but I've been told that I have to wait for 30 days since the due date to be able to do so. I asked to talk to a tier 2, I was told that he has no idea what I am talking about. Asked for a supervisor, he said that he/she is going to tell me the same think and did not transfer me. I was unable to file an action notice, unable to speak to a tier 2, I've been told to wait for another 15 to 30 days before calling back. I've read on VJ that several other members had the same issues with VSC...are these the rules or they were changed? Any advice, please?

Can't say I have any advice, I'm afraid, but I'm in the same boat. My NOA1 is dated 2/6 and I got more or less the same response when I called. As for the processing date that they give you on the phone... From what I've read in some threads, it's hardly accurate. I know we've filed different petitions, but it seems like everything going through VSC right now is super slow. Hang in there. We'll make it!

Same thing for me ..i called maney times and i was told the same thing .. They r still working on jan 23 rd but u said they told u they r working on feb 28 th .. Thats new to me .. I dont know what to tell tou other than shoot for the best .. We will get there soon . By the way i would like to add you so we can chat about our cases when things come up or if we have advises for each other .. The thing is .. I dont know how to add people on this website .. I am new to it but it is very helpful . So please add me .
