If that is your objective let me help you out. You could offer up the kind of attacks attempted in the japanese subway system using poison gas. You could suggest using box-cutters to kill an airline crew and then fly the aircraft into a sky-scraper. If you think of it you can come up with all sorts of nifty ways a wannabe mass-murderer could accomplish his objective. But why do you want to do that?

demonstrating that when there's a will, there's a way.

Why is that? I want to hear you explain why a gun is uniquely more suited to your self-defense than a knife or baseball bat!

because i don't think it's wise to take a knife or baseball bat to a gunfight?

I don't expect you to be a rocket scientist but tell me what one of these three you would want for self defense against an armed assailant. Take your time now and don't rush before you make your choice. After you make your choice please explain to us know why you made said choice.

1) Knife

2) Baseball Bat

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

You are not answering. Why won't you say WHY you don't think it wise taking a knife or baseball bat to a gunfight? Are you afraid that your honest answer will contradict some of the ridiculous canards thrown around on here by the RWNJ's?

They didn't hate Saddam as much as they did foreign invaders.

Your 'answer' is irrelevant to the question? Read it over and try again.

No, I was asking the question. He has painted himself into the corner and I want to see what contortions he is going to go through to get out!

But if you want to answer for him go ahead!

It's very relevant. There are many dictatorial governments that are not being overthrown by their citizenry, even if they are armed.

Being armed is a necessary condition, not a sufficient one.

You are right, there must also be motivation. It is an understatement to say the Shiites were motivated!

perhaps because i sucked at baseball and know nothing about knife fighting? :hehe:

perhaps some here may want to rise to the challenge of taking on a firearm equipped assailant with nothing more than a baseball bat - yes, a real opportunity to excel, but i think i'll pass on that test of manliness.

Oh you big brute you! You don't want to use that to protect you and your loved ones with something so violent like that big burly gun. It's much too brutish and unliberal.

If you just have to be a brutish ruffian and protect you and your loved ones then you want to use something like this against your attacker(s)...

Would my Maglite be ok, or would that be too violent if someone attacked my wife?
