Wow....Yikes....Holy Moly.... :wow:

In the beginning when I started this thread...I was thinking worst case scenario, I will be at NVC for 3 months. Just now speaking to NVC agent, I could well be sitting at NVC for 4-5 months or even longer. Then another 2 month wait until the day of the interview.

I guess we just kick back and ride the waves

My wife called Monday and was told interview would be set up in September for October interview. It seems like every operator says something different. Two years ago with my father in law, they were saying that second Tuesday of the month stuff and two weeks after approval we got the interview date. It sure wasn't set up on the second Tuesday either. But who knows what they are really doing now. I do know the Manila Embassy was closed for three days due to the storm, however, two/three months waiting for an interview is a bunch of bull. Maybe we should call the embassy and see if they need more CO's. I know I'd be willing to help them out if they did

Okay, I just did some snooping around and a IR1/CR1 approved at NVC on 8/2 just got an interview on 9/14 in manila. Now that sounds about normal regardless of what the operators say. I was figuring from around the end of September to the middle of October and seems like that is what it is looking like.

Did you get your DS-3032 sent off yet?

If not, do that as soon as possible...it takes them 7-10 days to accept it.

You will not get the IV invoiced until they accept the DS-3032.

I just picked up the paper work from my wife today. Will try to get it mailed this weekend.

When you pay on line use Internet Explore. I tried to use Firefox and it wouldn't work. Worked great with IE.

Another tip about calling NVC. I only have a cell phone and never come close to using my 900 minutes. I got a text near the end of my billing cycle that I was close to my limit. I used a lot of minutes on hold with NVC. If you don't have unlimited minutes you might want to add their number to your circle of friends. :hehe:

Why? what happened? You are not able to contact your hubby?

I was not able to print my cover sheets until after the bills show "paid".

Maybe they are expiditing you....
