Everyday my recieve date changes. And today for the first time I get the "you must give us 20 BUSINESS days to input your case so we can get you a case#". I just don't get people who have arrived within the first 3 weeks of July appoved after me and alrady are done at NVC and here I am 35 days later and no case# because I just arrived. It's so unfair.

And I mean unfair to us all. Not just me. Just feeling stuck at the docks watching all the other ships launch off.

Yep...I know what you feeling. You will see so many more come and go while you sit there. So, what are they giving you for a receive date now? You will get a case number in 10 days or less from your receive date.

First it ws July 31. That was wednesday. Yesterday it was July 30th. Now its August 1. For real. Bet if I called back I will get another date. It should be July 10th. Thats the date USCIS/CSC has me as transferred to NVC. Come on now.

And all people received that date goodness are done or about done at NVC.

But you know what I really need to stop whining I am at 4 months 15 days since filing. I am still way ahead f the game. My goal was to get my husband home within 6 months. Oh well it will be close enough.

That's a very good attitude....and really you're not that far behind me. I was 37 days from NOA2 until my case # received. I think you will have "THE NUMBER" by next week.

Just be sure to have all your documents ready to go, so when NVC starts asking for them you can deliver immediately. The sooner you reply then the sooner the next step in NVC.

I told you Debbie...it is not any easier in NVC because you are always in a state of anticipation. when you get your case number, then you will become addicted to signing into the payment portal.

And we are like drug addicts out side wandering the streets. No matter how much we say we won't knock (call) or look here we go. I guess because well once that case# is in our hands we can do abit of the driving. David&Goliath I like you.(F)
