G-325A question for mother-in-law

Hello all,

We're looking at G-325A form along with I-130 for my mother-in-law. It may not be required but doesn't hurt to send. My mother-in-law has been windows for 20+ years now and she never remarried. Here are some questions.

1. My mother-in-laws father has passed away. what does she put for City and Country of Residence? Do we put the place he lived before his death or do we put "deceased"?

2. As my father-in-law is no longer alive, do we put my father-in-law's name for current husband? Or do we put "None"?

3. What does it mean for "Applicant's last address outside the United Sates of more than 1 year"? Also, when my husband files this form, does he put his home-country address here?

4. My mother-in-law is housewife but she also has some farm/land, do we put housewife or farmer or None?

Which form you are filling (I130 or DS-230)??? It looks like the you are putting some things from DS230 and I130... Lets go with I130 form to file for her immigration...

Thanks for replying. I am trying to fill out form G-325A, to be sent along with I-130. Unfortunately, G-325A does not have sections. It's just one page form.

I would say put his last city and country of residence and put "deceased" in bracket "(DECEASED)"

2. As my father-in-law is no longer alive, do we put my father-in-law's name for current husband? Or do we put "None"?

since your mother-in-law has not married after her husband passed away, so she has to put his name.

3. What does it mean for "Applicant's last address outside the United Sates of more than 1 year"? Also, when my husband files this form, does he put his home-country address here?

In I-130 application, G-325A has to be filed by your husband as well as his mother. In his mother's G-325A put her last address where she lived in India (i.e. outside USA). In your husband's form, put "None" if he has not lived more than 1 year in India (or any other country) after becoming USA citizen.

4. My mother-in-law is housewife but she also has some farm/land, do we put housewife or farmer or None?

If she does not have legally registered farming business, then just put "housewife" in there.
