I was just sitting here at work and wondering about Brenda... I sure hope all goes well for her. ;)

I was reading some other people's timelines, and it really put this whole waiting thing into perspective for me. I mean, some people have had to wait sooooo long! I fell like Efrain and I are really lucky. We actually thought it would take a lot longer than it has. I will never forget the day I got the NOA2 in the mail...I was expecting it in like May for some reason, and got it in November.... I was a weepy mess. But it's a good memory. haha

Anyway, hopefully things are getting back on track and everyone at the CDJ is rested and ready to get to work sending out those packets! I am sending them the positive vibes....to get those papers sent to me and everyone else waiting!

That's the spirit Kristen! During the IMBRA fiasco many of us waited 5+ months and Brenda waited something like 9 for no apparent reason. The whole process is relatively quick, all things considered, and we're super lucky to be dealing with a consulate that doesn't require beneficiaries to wait for an appointment for months on end! You'll be together before you know it . . . hang in there!

Brenda, report in - we're waiting for your news!!!

Hello people!

I am glad some people are having good luck from here. Unfortunately, I am not one. I don't know if this is a big deal or not but I sent in my I-129F package on 1/4/07 and as of today I still have not heard anything about my NOA1. My check has not been cashed and I have not gotten any confirmation from my certified mail. I was checking other timelines and it only took days to a week for theirs. Is this a slow time for NSC or CSC? Should I call them?

Marty

Marty, I would give it some time - it can takes weeks to receive your NOA1. If you don't get confirmation of your certified mail and the check isn't cashed, that would be a different story. . . . give it a little more time.

I've noticed that we've all been kind of quiet lately because everyone is in somewhat of a holding pattern. Hopefully it will pick up soon, and everyone can get back to the excitement of upcoming interviews, visa pick-ups, NOA2's, etc.

Has anyone heard anything from CDJ lately?

My fiancee went to CDJ Jan. 10 and turned in her application, and got her finger prints taken. She forgot the

hardship letter and documentation, I don't know how she could remember the application and forget the letter.

Anyways, I sent a copy to CDJ yesterday hopefully it won't get lost! The lady told her it would be a 6 month wait,

to see if out waiver was approved.

Well my fiance is going for his interview in a couple days. I'm trying not to think about it too much, that's why lately I've tried to stay away from VJ, so that I won't loose my mind.

Brenda - cuentanos.. como te fue en la entrevista??

I am still waiting for some kind of communication indicating that they have received our case at CDJ. They only have it electronically and it will soon be 2 months from the time it was sent from NVC. They say it is strange how long it is taking, but all we can do is wait. They are just super busy, but they have also said that it cannot take longer than 2 months for them to enter us into the computer, so we will see if that is correct this coming week. This wait is driving my fiance and I crazy; I don't know why, but the wait for the approval was much easier. I hope that those waiting will receive packets soon!

I am leaving (driving) tomorrow to meet Ivonne in Juarez on Sunday -- its been a long road, but hopefully this is the end of one and the beginning of a new one. We are both nervous because she has been denied a tourist visa in 2000 -- but hopefully that won't be an issue here. Thanks for all the posts -- its really helped a lot to know what to expect!
