I would. Here's a list of 28 mass homicide incidents that occurred over the past 13 years. How many more would it take for you to consider it something that occurs pretty regularly?

April 1999 - two teenage schoolboys shot and killed 12 schoolmates and a teacher at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, before killing themselves.

July 1999 - a stock exchange trader in Atlanta, Georgia, killed 12 people including his wife and two children before taking his own life.

September 1999 - a gunman opened fire at a prayer service in Fort Worth, Texas, killing six people before committing suicide.

October 2002 - a series of sniper-style shootings occurred in Washington DC, leaving 10 dead.

August 2003 - in Chicago, a laid-off worker shot and killed six of his former workmates.

November 2004 - in Birchwood, Wisconsin, a hunter killed six other hunters and wounded two others after an argument with them.

March 2005 - a man opened fire at a church service in Brookfield, Wisconsin, killing seven people.

March 2009 - a heavily-armed gunman shot dead eight people, many of them elderly and sick people, in a private-owned nursing home in North Carolina.

I've got a kid who just graduated university last year, Darnell. And I work for one of the largest mental health provider in my state.

Just in case you thought I just feel off a log.

I don't know anywhere you can just walk in for an intake, 24/7. Mental health care in this country is abysmal. It's the dark thing under the bed no one wants to deal with.

That's because it's an opinion. It's not concrete. It's an idea. People consider something insane that they cannot comprehend.

Most of the people we consider to be "insane" are actually fvcking genius' - What does that tell us about the rest of society?

It's a very specific Venn Diagram, Always.

I'm not knocking yer kid or your workplace. I'm directly knocking yer experience with dealing with mental issues on a University Campus.

Walk-ins occur, are available, and there's always someone to handle the intake. I'm sorry you not know this, but in the same breath, I'm succinctly happy that you've never experienced this, directly. Good On You. You Rock, and Stuff.
