Quite out of topic... We're currently living OCONUS (I'm his SOFA dependent) and my husband will PCS back to the US very soon. Do you know if it is possible for our case to be expedited?

Probably not. I called and asked as well because he received new orders and was told we didn't fit any criteria. Maybe you being OCONUS may be different. Can't hurt to try and since you will have orders, they will ask that you provide those.

My concern is the change of address. Their systems did not update when we PCS'ed to here and our mail went to our FL address (lucky it is still ours). Maybe it's different if you have an active case but we received the NOA's as confirmation at our new duty station so I don't know what the hell USCIS is doing half the time!

Best of luck.

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR: (dd/mm/yyyy)

18/09/09 - CR1 NOA1

16/07/10 - POE LAX (256 days NOA1 to interview)

27/09/10 - Aussie/American bun in the oven due May 10, 2011

06/01/11 - Submitted change of address online to USCIS. Mailed I-865 for sponsor. Neverending!

05/05/11 - Bouncing baby boy arrives

10/07/12 - Sent I-751

13/07/12 - I-751 NOA1

hi! I just got interviewed for my temporary greencard. I got approved but I havent recieved my greencard yet. I went to the interview alone since my husband is in Italy. Unfortunately he will be there for two years. I am just curious how I will file my ROC since we will still be living apart by then (but plans to visit him every now and then). Thank you so much.

Hello,

I've been browsing through this site and I was hoping for a forum made for the Military and here I am.

I've been reading all the posts and I have some questions to ask. I know majority of you are all AC Military Spouses so if you guys can help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Is there anything at all for the Reserves? I have two Soldiers here in need of assistance. However, from what I read, the expedited section is only for AC and not AR. I know the number to the USCIS number for Military assistance but I would like to hear your input on these matters. I would like to add that I am not AC but USAR so I do not need a permission memorandum from my Commander.

Mahalo Nui Loa!
