I applied for OPT and got card production email on 07/11/2012.On 07/18/2012 i got another card production email. Then today which 07/20/2012 i got another email saying my card has been mailed to me.Now this is what i dont understand, i called uscis to request my tracking number and to my surprise the L2 officer told me my card hasn't been produced yet as off 07/11/2012 and i told but i got an email saying my card has been mailed. He said the emails dont correlate with what actually happens over there.I am kinda confused?Anyone with this experience.

Same thing happened to me and I had my card with in 7 days of the last email saying that the card had been mailed out. I also received an email saying that the USPS had delivered my card on the day that I received it.

What customer service says, and what is actually going on, often has no relation to each other. You could have called right back, asked another agent and been told something completely different. Its like a puzzle trying to figure out when you're getting the true information or not from the customer service lines.
