I got my NOA2 on Monday and called NVC today. They said they received the it and asked to give atleast 1 more week before calling again. I hope they generate the case # soon so that we can send the choice to agent email and get the ball rolling. With no automated system now I can't call everyday and check the status and I have to wait 5 mins or more for the representative.

I have to wait between 15-30 minutes everytime i called and i'm calling them everyday...i just got my NVC case number today by phone.....NVC received my I-130 on July 2nd so i was waiting for 17 days to get my case number, but no e-mail from them yet..my advice is call NVC everyday after the NVC received your I-130 or call them again in 10-15 business days..

* March 5th 2012 --> I-130 Delivered at Chicago Lockbox

* March 7th 2012 --> Got NOA1 by SMS (Vermont Service Center)

* March 14th 2012 --> Got Hardcopy of I-797C in the airmail

* June 29th 2012 --> NOA2 (114days)

* July 5th 2012 --> Got Hardcopy of NOA2

NVC takes from approx. 5 to 10 business days on most cases to issue a case number once it's received from CSC/VSC office.
