NVC courtesy notification letter

For those who filed petition for Ukrainian fiance or similar. It says on embassy website that NVC will send letter to the petitioner advising him that petition has been sent to embassy. My question is approx how long from NOA2 to get this letter. Alot of people on here saying that they call NVC, but do you actually get any correspondence from them?

From vermont it is taking 15 days to reach NVC, from Cali, sometimes more, maybe 30 days. NVC takes 1-7 days to process and forward, and when they forward they will send you a letter. Kiev was good about getting invitation out to beneficiary . Check my timeline. You don't need to call, both petitioner and beneficiary will receive post mail.

Thanks for the info, will the embassy also notify me that they received the petition because my fiance is at diffrent address then the one we supplied on petition.

We still have no letter and when I called NVC they had recieved it the 16th, but she claimed they were running at 10 to 20 days to process and send notifications. Its a different application but they are supposed to be processed in order recieved

Just to give a little hope for the CSC filers, and I could be an exception but, NOA2 July 2, 2012, NVC received July 9, 2012. Called and got my case number on July 16, 2012 (14 days after NOA2 date). You can call 603-334-0700 with your WAC number and they can tell if received, when and your NVC case number.

The only correspondence I received was the notice of approval from CSC, we have an interview date of July 31 and we never received anything from NVC, I called for the case number then waited and called the embassy so, I guess the short answer to your question is you won’t necessarily receive anything from NVC via mail or E-mail, we did receive the packet from the embassy via E-mail but this was after we scheduled the interview
