For the DS-230's questions #14 - #18 all regarding my 'spouse', do i just put N/A as the answer as I've yet to marry my fiancee? (K1 application). Or do I fill them out with her current information?

Same question for the DS-156 question number #18/19.

Thank you.

I believe if you are K1, you just fill N/A for #14, #15-18 will be your family information, isn't it? they are not you spouse's family information.

On question #14:

For K1/K2/K4/CR2/IR2 ---- write N/A,

For K3/CR1/IR1 ---- petitioner's information

14 - spouse's maiden or family name

15 - date and place of birth of spouse

16 - address of spouse

17 - spouse's occupation

18 - marriage date

I think you have it right that I'd just have to fill in N/A. Just want to be sure so there are no hang-ups during this process.

Thank you for the quick responses, that was amazingly fast!

oh, yes, then n/a for all of them. I was looking at an older version of DS-230. Sorry about that.

14 - spouse's maiden or family name

15 - date and place of birth of spouse

16 - address of spouse

17 - spouse's occupation

18 - marriage date

Keep in mind that N/A is not the same as NONE, and putting N/A where you should put NONE *could* cause problems. Follow the example form for K-1 visas: Form-DS-230

I think N/A might work because technically the questions don't apply...however the sample form uses NONE
