Hi everyone,

I need a little help or advise here about my green card. I had my biometic fingers print done since 19th of April 2012. It said on the paper that my case has been tranferred to CA, so interview do not required. Whatever decision they make will be mail it to me.

It has been a while and I haven't heard anything at all not even REF. I keep checking on the USCIS website but all i see is "initial Review". I wanted to give them a call but wasn't sure if I should. Is there anyone has any ideas of how much longer do I have to wait for or shuould I just sit tight and waiting patiently? And what will be happen next?? I just worried what if my husband get to deploy elsewhere and they might come and kick me out of the country.

thank you for all advices :) good luck to you all

You could have a while to wait yet. Most people are waiting about 6 months from the time their case is transferred to CSC to the time they are approved. You won't get kicked out. You are in a period of authorized stay.

Do you have your EAD/AP yet?

Also have a look at the numerous topics in the "AOS from family-based visas case filing and progress reports" forum - you'll see lots of other people in the same situation.

Don't worry you won't get kick out off the country, Just wait for the approval... now it usually takes 6-9 months once it get transferred to CSC. we had our biometrics done last march and we haven't heard anything since then. Still on initial review. been waiting for 3 months now since CSC took my case.

Goodluck on your journey.
