Hello everyone,

Never really have time to post on here, but reading ALL the time and it was this Forum that enabled me to do this entire thing myself (versus hiring an Attorney) and not getting any RFE's.

Anyways, things are moving so much faster now. NVC received our file on July 18 and I was given the MNL #. My Fiance went to BPI yesterday; paid the fees and has the receipt with her Passport # being correct, etc.

NBI, Birth Certificate, CENOMAR, Passport Photos, etc. are all completed. I have all the documents ready for the I-134 as well as all the additional proof of ongoing relationship, and the DS Forms are almost done, etc.....so I think we are all set. I will be flying to Manila to attend the interview with her as well.

We were able to schedule the Interview Date online today and it is set for August 24.

My question is this: Will we be ok time-wise if she shows up in Manila Sunday afternoon, August 19th to be ready Monday morning, August 20th at St. Luke's?

I.E., if she does the Medical on Monday, would it be safe to assume she will be ready for the interview that Friday? Or should I have her fly to Manila sooner? If so, how much sooner? (She lives in Cebu)

Thanks for the help.

Yeah. But if there will be a problem with the medical (let's hope everything's ok) you need to cancel and reschedule your interview.

You should be fine with what you have planned. Print the confirmation page from scheduling your interview? Or maybe the embassy will get the confirmation letter out in a timely manner.

Yeah. But if there will be a problem with the medical (let's hope everything's ok) you need to cancel and reschedule your interview.

 As long as there's no problem with the medicals (i.e. she will be asked to take additional tests) and she gets her vaccination done on the second day (no need for sputum test and she's not pregnant), your plan's okay.

Make your your appointment in St. Luke early before your interview in August bcoz you didn't know if there's a problem or not in your medical bcoz if they see just a tiny scar in your lungs you gonna follow the 2 months culture. I do my medical last July 8-9 and i find out there's a little scar in my lungs and i need to do my sputum for 3 days so we cancel my interview that supposedly on august 6. I go back in manila for the sputum test for 3 days last july 16-18 and happy that the result was negative but we still follow the 2 months culture. Make your medical early as possible as before your interview and then if everything smooth with your fiancee medical atleast you give time for them to send your result in US Embassy. Hopefully this will help
