Has anyone recently received August interviews for India?

Just on contacting the NVC to inquire about whether interview is scheduled, was told not yet and also that scheduling of August interviews in Mumbai, India has already completed and closed 2 days ago, on Tuesday.

Could this be misleading info from the agent? Has any VJ members received a interview email for Mumbai in the last week or so?

I see interviews scheduled on all the August dates, but our case number not there

Then the dates have been closed for august !! NVC will intimate you when ur interview is scheduled

According to this schedule, there isnt a single CR1 interview in the last week of August. See a whole bunch of F4 ones

I don't think it's finished yet. The reason why I say that is because the file on the site for August is showing at PDF 158 KB. The July file (as well as past three months that my husband and I have been watching the site) is showing PDF 316 KB at complete scheduling.

They MAY not have finished updating the file on the site yet and the NVC rep had inside info....but I would give it a few more days to see if the file updates to closer to 300KB.

We're still waiting for an interview date. The documents and the Immigrant Visa application were received by NVC on Monday -- I'm not sure how long it should take before they schedule a date.

Also, on a recent call to NVC, I was told they only schedule interviews the 2nd week of every month. I'm still not quite sure what that means. Any idea?

The pdf file size listed on the website is not correct, if you try downloading the August file locally it'll show up as being 378kb. And also it already has 27 pages of appointments and a week ago had about half as many. And there are appointments listed for pretty much all the business days in August whereas week ago it was only up to around August 16th.

Most of NVC operators are dumb! They speak generic sentences if they don't have info that you are looking for. You will have different answers each time you speak to a different operator. Bottom line is that all CR1 August appointments are scheduled a long time ago so don't expect in August.

My fiancee has an interview in August. How did you submit your papers? by email? Mail or in person?

August isn't full for k1 yet, but for most others, it looks like its full as per the August schedule pdf. They haven't updated yet, but my fiance has hers in August too.
